Narciso Rodriguez was a student at Parsons School of Design when he began working for Donna Karan at Anne Klein. Rodriguez later moved to Calvin Klein, and then to Nino Cerruti before opening his own label.
Rodriguez became famous worldwide when he designed the wedding dress of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. Rodriguez's clothes are designed for comfort and ease of wear. He won the Perry Ellis Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 1998.
