Nicole Miller was born in 1952. She studied at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris, and received her degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
Miller began her own clothing line in 1982, and has since expanded her collections to include accessories, men's ties, perfumes, cosmetics, and a home line.
Miller's signature look is highly artistic printed representational patterns. Miller's clothes are constructed so as to camouflage areas of a woman's body that may be less than flattering.
In 1996, Miller became the first designer to use well-known actresses as the models for her runway show.
Miller's designs are worn by many of Hollywood's leading actresses.
