"Our style harks back to the glamorous Hollywood of the Forties."  James Mischka
Mark Badgley and James Mischka met while students at the Parsons School of Design.  Badgley designed for Donna Karan and Mischka designed menswear for Willi Smith before they partnered.  They launched their label in 1988, and started their bridal line in 1993.
Badgley Mischka clothes focus on evening wear, and are a favorite for special events.  Their clothes are elegant, and feature fine fabrics and excellent craftsmanship.
Badgley and Mischka have been named by Vogue magazine among the top 10 American designers.  The design house has used leading actresses as spokesmodels, including Sharon Stone and Teri Hatcher.
