This vintage 98% wool and 2% spandex suit is by Nicole Miller.
It has a black and red checkered pattern and a nice shiny black lining.
The very long jacket has shoulder pads, long sleeves with one button cuffs, long lapels, and three buttons down the front.
It has a faux self belt and two lower one button flap pockets with a center open dart.
The flat black buttons are circular and have textured centers, and the back has a yoke.
The long straight skirt has a back 7 1/4" long zipper and a 14 1/2" long open slit back center kickpleat.
The tag says it's size 8, but it fits like a size 2 for the skirt and a size 4 for the jacket.
It's from a former British model.
